The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 精神唐顿家人。甚至比1还好。南法别墅和庄园电影双线，没想到的剧情安排。还是一如既往地哭着笑着看完全剧，完全忘了身在何处，觉得剧中人就是现在的身边的而不是一百年前的，每一个人物的悲喜都强烈共鸣。
默片向有声电影转换的阶段，唐顿庄园也是走在关键时期。从婚礼到葬礼，到新生命的诞生，都是在艰难的活着。
不得不说管家艳福齐天，每集都能找到好对象，这次还攀上了好莱坞明星
刹那时光短暂，其间辛酸往事却只作回忆录的寥寥注脚，当写下这段倒数时刻，此时此地有更多值得铭记于心的笑。
每个人都在成长，情愿或者不情愿地迎接着时代的变化，除却一些过于刻意的安排，总体挺有意思的。
以婚礼开始，以葬礼结束。从无声电影到有声电影的转变，以及老奶奶的离世，都呼应了标题，唐顿庄园的new era的开始。

作为粉丝给五星。剧情展开分支较多，好在都有交代，但最后未汇聚，感觉有些凌乱。
