The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 喜剧 虽然大部分是肢体笑果 但我笑了 我觉得就及格了 至于故事逻辑的小问题我觉得可以接受 还有点小思考什么的 还不错
害挺好的，适合下饭……迷影细节不少，刀爷演技真棒。
能把这么多人整一起也是难得，东北已成网剧一大分支。。。
编剧功底不错啊！笑点密集 去电影院花钱看完出来不会觉得吃亏 张子栋真是久违了 老四的演技也是惊喜 刀爷最后的哭戏也很带动人 咋个分有点低~

殡葬行业角度选的很好，但没表现出行业特点来，有点流于表面。
哈哈哈绝对可以入选“因一个镜头而看整片”的名单，二手月季哈哈，化了烟熏妆的梁龙，可不就是玩死亡摇滚的嘛
导演在剧中明说自己很多情节就是致敬经典，想要创造教父--东北黑帮的感觉（实际就是放高利贷的）；展示丧葬行业（但是浮于表面形式）；希望社会对刑满释放人员多一些包容和改过的机会（通过自己雇佣以及与自我内心的和解达到）。对于喜剧演员客串的号召力很强，布景和台词都很有东北风格，没有追求表面的搞笑、有一些关于社会的思考。
电影质感在网络大电影里称得上精良，演员也不会很生硬，也没有一股很浓的东北大渣味，真就一个平民百姓小电影，挺不错的。至于题材，反转虽然猜到了，但是不影响是一个喜剧电影，觉得还行了，比小沈阳那好多了

事实证明再如何运用传统的基础剧作架构，也必须具有隔离的剧作逻辑。《东北告别天团》起了个非常经典的头，结果随着情节发展，人物动作逻辑就开始越来越飞，脱离常理。崔志佳作为影迷，脑子里都是香港或者好莱坞留下的痕迹，但这些都跟小品创作一样，都是碎片化的拼贴。抖出来一个个包袱，却全然没有能贯穿始终铺垫。最后强行反转也是在填逻辑的漏洞。轻松，笑了，也就是仅此而已。
开头的讨债那段词写得好。真的好好笑哈哈哈。故事和笑点是好的。电影的节奏有点生疏。给东北办葬礼，这个象征可以的。唉 导演功力还是有限，很好的点子。
——这气氛多像电影，正常男主都应该叼根烟，然后再放首《当年情》，那气氛一下就上来了。
狱后改造
三分电影，一分给网大，算是对网大的支持了，崔志佳你也太胖了，跟当年爱笑会议室的崔志佳差太多了，电影虽然还走着小品的套路，但是有一些导演的诚意在里面，算是国内网大中为数不多的好片了，比开心麻花一些电影小品赚票房来的实在。
