The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 导演的场景调度能力好强！前面半个小时，我一直在想为什么要看这个？后面越来越投入！节奏快，思路清晰！
那個時期青年反抗運動的訴求在於，不希望看到同胞們為了當政者的意識形態，而去參與一個不屬於公平正義、不屬於維護自己國家安全、不知為何而戰的戰爭行為，當然還有更重要的……Make Love Not War。
在这个时间点放出这样一部电影 政治意涵不言自明 但能影响的往往是不需要被影响的人 只为echo valley里再多一道响声
台词密集，然而很多都没说到点上，片子还算不错，7.8。

节奏非常好，很精彩。我本来是个对历史政治一点都不感兴趣的人。最近通过几部电影，真的感觉自己在这方面缺失，就像一个井底之蛙……
三星半吧。后半部分又开始瞎对付。小平同志说：要防止右，但主要是防止左。还要旗帜鲜明地反对资产阶级自由化。
三星半，两个小时审判不知觉间过去很剑拔弩张比较喜欢前段尤其第一场审判。
"审判开始后，很容易就会忘记这一切都是为了谁" ，Abbie实在是个有意思的角色。四星半，庭审最后。。T^T
可以感觉到挺好的，但是作为外语片这么大的信息量还是接受困难，只能明白个大概故事。不明觉厉吧
依然是密集的对白，超多信息量，关键是把故事还讲得挺精彩就很牛皮了。不过故事本身就很不错～
庭外与庭内，过去与现在，双线交织的叙事，节奏明快，政治主张鲜明，放在当下时局看，颇有几分不言而喻的深意。
很有张力的法庭群戏，台词和冲突设置满分。看过的片子里，cultural revolution真是影响了全世界，从北爱尔兰（以父之名）到巴黎（戏梦巴黎），再到芝加哥的Abbie Hoffman。
