The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 蛮牛仔风格的人狗交往过程，跟日本的人狗交往电影不一样。
看了一会感觉似曾相识，慢慢看才想起应该是改编的，记得以前看过类似的片子，看完查了下是翻拍的2018年的片子，很压抑 男主没有上一部男主脸上的冷静感，这个看的非常躁动，分分钟要崩溃
当我们还在呼喊狗是人类的朋友这一口号时，已经有人在讨论狗在战争后的恢复了，它们跟患有战争后遗症的士兵一样，需要被治愈。

最近看的第三部帅哥和狗的电影。不过渣宁在这个电影里邋遢又糟心。露露狗狠话不多。人与狗同病相怜，最后相依为命。重生的意义，互相的。
公路片来说还是有点俗套…虽然养了狗看不得温情宠物片但这部真的没有打动我
在HBO开发关于躁郁症的限定剧（尽管Jean-Marc Vallée的离开为这个项目增添了未知数），很早之前和A24合作的那部《侦探双雄》，能感受到（大概）跨入新的年龄阶段的Channing也想要试着探索更多可能和进行其它类型的尝试，而绝非仅是履行一种（基于身体、过往选角）既定重复的演出任务。选择这样一个故事上手足够安全稳妥- -毕竟狗、公路片、PTSD，这些元素在讨喜和打动人之上好像很难有什么差错。即使故事缺乏惊喜，也有一种极为平庸的发展，但会很感激一旦坐定就可从中享受到的陪伴- -是温暖的，也是可爱的。
评分比我想象中的低好多啊
其实可以有三星半，轻松又有点温情的人与狗公路片。
还可以吧！拍得挺踏实朴实的，有狗狗就很感人！

30岁生日老公请我去看的电影，当时电影放映打出的译名是《逍遥上路》，我用不解的眼神看了他两分钟🙄

老吉有些用力过猛，两个莫名其妙的脑补/直给画面也削弱了画外空间的力度，人物背景的加入并没有让整个故事变得更令人共情。整体食之无味，弃之不可惜。
还行吧，细节处理的不好，所以没有什么代入感。
