The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 带小孩去看了，孩子非常喜欢。小虎墩太可爱啦。小虎墩义无反顾勇往直前的精神让人感动。虎年第一天看小虎墩大江湖。真是难得的好片。
一个究极脑溢血剧情，配上写实的战争场面。
那句话怎么说的来着？永远不要低估一个被欺骗/背叛的女人的怒火。
男主大冤种，不过很帅
冷酷混乱的北欧风。老套的故事！愚蠢的逻辑设定！靠一件生化武器改变战争结局？这是百年前的一战吗？不过冰雪北欧的环境设定还算少见！冻满尸体的冰原也很震撼！其实倒是蛮适合做成游戏！
感觉还可以，题材不错。前一个多小时挺紧凑气氛很到位，最后结尾有点太马虎了，另外背景也交代的太少了，总体及格没有想象的那么差，分数可以再高点。
将就,看个新鲜,看个稀奇.
很多情节交代的莫名其妙的，然后就这点事儿也能播两个小时。

男主设计的太玄乎了
动机和铺垫过于单薄，可惜了演员的卖力演出了。
在黑暗中的冰面上悄无声息地滑行，有种冷冰冰的浪漫。那一刻，像极了我们的人生，孤身一人，如履薄冰，蜷缩在脆弱的冰面上四顾无人，徒然等待，等待大厦将倾，等待万劫不复。
因为noomi关注，再者好久没有所谓的惊悚了，人长时间没有惊悚的日子也会很惊悚。电影开始不错，节奏矛盾起伏都有期待。可能是天太冷，冻得导演越来越缺血，质量急转直下，最后我就担心病毒炸了会消灭吗……
动作和表情应该是国内翘楚，比那什么雄狮强多了，故事人设场景就不太行了。
北欧电影特有的冷色调。剧本虽然有点老套，但是和现在的局势下，电影中假想用病毒结束一切的可能性也是极强的。PS：电影的片尾曲《stay dead》还蛮好听的
会让观看者不断产生“这TM是什么？”和“这TM又是什么？”的自我质问的电影。
