The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 但是谁都知道以后的事变数太多，所以小新才要大声骂回去：要活在当下啊。
也是很有教育意义的一部片子了，不仅看到了对功利的精英培养的讽刺，更看到了风间对小新是真爱呀～哟吼～
成年人都搞不懂的东西，被“愚蠢”的小新看透了，为什么一定要做“精英”呢？为什么一定要活在别人的期待里呢？做个普普通通的人多好

这部剧场版真棒啊！没能引进太遗憾了，好想在电影院看，这就是青春啊~结尾好燃，风间最后的告白我都要哭了，しんちゃん，走って！！
幼稚的画风和特别理智的情绪：不刻意敌视高材生，不盲目宣扬普通人。看到最后突然很喜欢正男。

前大半段跟之前的作品相比有些弱，后20分钟算是有些力挽狂澜了，不过在蜡笔小新剧场版电影中算不上出色的佳作
