The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 好久没见的这么标准的西部片，而且还排出了武侠片片的感觉
西部武侠片。

没有绞肉！做作。没有女性缠绵，没有都市矫情。
没错，亨利就是比利小子，那个西部片中的传奇人物。稳稳当当的讲故事，顺带致敬经典、彰显自己的西部血统。
至少闪回交代一下以前的“丰绩”吧，不然还是显得突兀。就算信任了，也不至于为其拼命，特别是作为本来就是想隐姓埋名的人，带着儿子离开不应该是最好的选择吗？
Billy the Kid! 有传统西部片的风骨～
这是一部节奏很慢的电影，不同于以往的西部电影刻画牛仔精神，快马快枪的感觉。本片情绪是逐渐进阶的过程，所有的张力最终凝结于亨利拔枪的一瞬。片中人物不多，但是各有故事，也阐释了在这片法外之地，以暴制暴的丛林法则！
隐士的高手被世界重新发现的时候，有好结局的似乎不多
只是tmd活在这个奶头乐的当下，
他死前给儿子上了一课
完成度很高 每个人都有强烈的人物风格 老枪手要不顾一切救那个年轻人 是对自己小时候被救的一种报恩? 这个设定与他整体出世的态度存在矛盾
联想自己：当遇到这种坑货，到底该不该救？答案是别救，钱也别拿，少管闲事。毕竟那么大片林子，就住两户人，屁股想想就知道可能是谁拿走了钱。活着才是最重要的！！！
对西部的粗粝生活还原的很好，给了西部传奇人物一个归隐侠客式的结局，只是故事太过简单了

21/11/5：想不到西部片能有一丝回光返照
给满分了，非常喜欢西部片，一看开头就知道结尾，但是这个片子还是非常让人惊喜，不输经典，西部片里程上，又一个让人不的不提的一部片子，非常喜欢
永远不要惹你大爷！西部爽片，不知为什么，很喜欢西部片对枪的感觉。
难得现在还能看到一部如此舒缓古典的西部片。虽然剧情和场景都简单了些，和《新豪勇七蛟龙》这样的当代西部动作大片相去甚远，但骨子里的悲怆气息与东木老爷子的《不可饶恕》如出一辙
