尽管现在好莱坞力求斩断直男/女审美，甚至不惜让妮娜和欧阳在结尾成为一对，展示diversity的美好，但真实的社会和好莱坞之间的沟壑越来越远。妮娜不会和欧阳成为一对，asian male依然在dating app的最底端，all they have is "good guy" and "nice guy"。不要问我是怎么知道的，dating app 只看身材和脸 -> winners take all
镜头调度和几场歌舞表演都不错，但观感很糟糕，其一是西区故事（罗密欧与朱丽叶）这个剧本放到现今看老派又守旧，观众不仅无法共情还会满脸问号..其二是男女主的演绎都令人失望，唱、演双重糟糕。
持续和1961版对比，而这也展示了原版的伟大。在1961版中，两个帮派都是社会的边缘人物，他们的舞蹈和歌曲杰出而无“人”欣赏，而在新版中他们可以公然地在街头make a scene。

可是男主没有好好道歉过啊。为什么engagement party上是女主单方面道歉啊。题目倒是挺好，Love Hard 跟《虎胆龙威》Die hard 对应上了。
场景镜头都很精巧，就是这剧情太低智了，分分钟让我出戏，感觉好像在看印度片。西语听不懂，歌也不好听，男女主像被强行捏在一起的一样没有chemistry
亚裔成为男主，突破了之前的某种界限，冲着这个就值得推荐！
一开始很惊艳，调色打光、摄影、场面调度是一级的，但剧本和男女主之间的火花都无法匹配上述硬件，以至于整个故事作为电影挺食之无味。
每一幕都是享受，完美的电影拍摄手法，顶尖的好莱坞水准，来拍摄了一个过时的故事。去享受就好了。
男人之间的剑拔弩张，collateral damage都是女人在承受。
除了几处歌舞高光场面，故事内核单薄加之主演糟糕的表演堪称灾难。
两星半，这样的故事放在非常工业化的布景里，放在现在这个社会环境里，会有一些违和，有一些情感的发展已经说服不了观众了。
就像罗密欧在朱丽叶的阳台下屡次地回头一样，东尼唱着爱情的夜曲，在玛利亚的阳台下千转百回，辗转徘徊。
丰富的场景，精致的转场，但影片的具象化太消解舞台调度的那种铿锵力度了，Rita不亏是老将，全片最佳是somewhere。
