The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 当历史英耽看很好嗑。喜欢这类大变局前夕的电影。不过不同意片尾的文字，美化了。
故事架构是在波澜壮阔的历史变局下，小人物徒劳虚无的奋斗。尽管开了视角的我们知道那场盛夏割席之后必然有更多的苦痛，但导演对于单个场景的戏剧张力把握还是很强的，比如未遂的刺杀和狂热激烈的社会氛围。但笨拙的间谍行为和情节还是非常让人出戏，尤其荞麦一跑梦回1917，文科精英就干不了别的事吗？以及女性角色还不如一个都别有，比工具还机械。显然本片意图塑造一个完整多面的张伯伦，但私以为动机铺设还是太少，比如并没有呈现绥靖能给英国争取到多少军事准备，好奇英国人会怎么评价这种史观。
在历史车轮之前，每个人的决定或许狂热，或许偏执，或许盲目，但无疑都是坚定的。如今看来，那样的年代，似乎没有完全之举，余下都只是无奈妥协。后半段有点同性电影的意思啊，很隐忍但又在不断挑拨着你往那方面想。。玩的溜
此时看这部电影，时机刚刚好，剧情与现实相交映照，产生一种奇妙的历史幻觉。
张伯伦已成为曲线救国的坚忍老头了，当然这是英国人的一厢情愿。
英国使团的安保一塌糊涂，德国人的反侦也是一塌糊涂……

丧事喜办不是这么个办法吧，问过捷克斯洛伐克的感受了吗。
保罗最后没开枪的剧情，逻辑上没立住。影片最后字幕标注张伯伦之死，竟有些唏嘘和悲凉。
